HomeAway: Another disruptive hotel alternative grows

To say alternative lodging options seem to be increasing in popularity would be the understatement of 2015. As if the hotel industry wasn’t competitive enough, Expedia’s $3.9 billion acquisition of HomeAway this week means vacation rental properties just became that much more accessible and Expedia became that much more powerful.
